Welcome to the Skokie Firefighters Local #3033 Website. Since 1987 we have been recognized as the official bargaining unit for eighty seven (87) Firefighters/Paramedics and Eighteen (18) Lieutenants. We are affiliated members of the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois (AFFI) as well as the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). Our first collective bargaining agreement was ratified in February of 1988 and to this day we continue to negotiate the member’s wages, hours and conditions of employment.

Giving Back

We love serving the Skokie community and we seek to giveback.

On occasion you may see us on the street holding out a boot.  Currently we are filling the boot for the MDA to help fight muscular dystrophy.  Our last MDA boot drive Nov. 2018 we raised  $12,470 dollars. We thank you for your support.
